Your privacy

Your private life is not a product.

Lunaround exists to help you understand your own body, not to package up what you tell us and sell it to someone else. This page explains, in plain language, exactly what we store, what we never do, and the control you have over all of it.

Effective July 27, 2026

We never sell your data

Not your account, not your health logs, not your email. We have no business model that involves selling or renting your personal information, and we never will.

Private by default

Your planner entries belong to you. They are stored in your own account and are not shared with other users, advertisers, or data brokers.

Delete it all, anytime

One button in Settings permanently removes your account and everything in it. No emails to send, no hoops, no waiting.

Share only if you choose

You can opt in to help us improve the product. It is off by default, completely optional, and you can switch it back off at any moment.

What we collect

Only what the planner needs to work

Lunaround is a private tracker you create an account for. Everything you log is personal, stored in your own account, and visible only to you.

  • Your name and email address, used to sign you in and send essential account messages.
  • Cycle details you enter during onboarding (cycle length, period length, last period date, regularity).
  • Your daily logs: energy, mood, sleep, symptoms, cycle notes, food notes, supplements, intentions, and any free-text notes you write.
  • Weekly reflections you choose to write.
  • A payment confirmation from Stripe. We never see or store your card number.

Our promise

What we will never do

  • Sell, rent, or trade your personal information to anyone.
  • Share your planner entries or journal notes with other users.
  • Use your health data to target ads at you.
  • Build a profile of you to sell to data brokers.
  • Require you to share anything beyond what the product needs to work.

You're in control

Your data, your call

Delete everything

Go to Settings → Delete account. This permanently erases your profile, logs, supplements, and reflections. It cannot be undone, and we keep no shadow copy.

Choose what you share

Sharing anonymized data to help us improve the product is a toggle in Settings. It is off unless you turn it on, and you can turn it back off whenever you like.

The full policy

The details, in full

The sections above are the short version and are what we actually do. The following is the complete policy for the record.

1. Who this policy covers

This policy applies to Lunaround, available at https://lunaround.com. It explains what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the rights and choices you have. By using the product you agree to the practices described here.

2. Information we collect

When you create an account, we collect the information you give us: your name and email, your cycle and onboarding details, your daily logs and the free-text notes within them, your supplements, and your weekly reflections. We also store a payment confirmation from Stripe. We do not collect or store your card number at any point.

If you join the founding list, we collect your email address, the numbered place it reserves, and the date you joined. That is the entire record, and it is the only thing we hold about you if you never create an account.

We do not ask for, and you should not enter, more sensitive information than the planner needs to be useful to you.

3. How we use your information

We use your information only to:

  • Provide the planner and show you your own logs, patterns, and reflections.
  • Sign you in and send essential account messages such as password setup.
  • Operate, maintain, and fix the product.

We do not use your data to advertise to you, and we do not use it to build a marketing profile of you.

4. We do not sell your data

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. This is a core commitment, not a setting you have to find. If this ever needed to change, we would tell you clearly and ask for your consent first.

5. Sharing data to improve the product (optional)

You can choose to let us use your data, in anonymized and aggregated form, to understand how the product is used and make it better. This is entirely optional.

  • It is off by default. Nothing is shared unless you turn it on.
  • You can switch it on or off at any time in Settings.
  • Turning it off stops any future use of your data for this purpose.
  • This never includes selling your data or sharing identifiable entries with third parties.

6. Service providers we rely on

We use a small number of trusted providers to run the service. They process data on our behalf and only as needed to provide their service. Each has its own privacy policy.

Google Firebase Secure hosting, database, and authentication for your account and your planner data.
Stripe Processes the one-time payment when you buy on this website. Stripe handles your card details directly; we never receive them.
Apple Processes the one-time payment when you buy inside the iPhone or iPad app, and tells us only that a purchase was made. We never see your card or your Apple ID.
Resend Sends transactional email such as password setup and sign-in messages, and holds the founding list of email addresses.

7. Cookies and what we keep in your browser

The planner uses only the cookies needed to keep you signed in. We do not run third-party advertising or analytics cookies on your personal data.

As you move around the site, we keep two small things in your browser's session storage: a random code for the tab you are reading in, and the campaign tag from the link if you arrived from an ad. Neither is a cookie, neither is shared with anyone, and neither is attached to your name, your email, or anything you have written. They let us count visits rather than loose clicks, so we can see which pages are working. Close the tab and both are gone, with no way for us to recognize you when you come back.

The quiz is deliberately left out of this. When you finish it we record that a quiz was completed and nothing else: no tab code, no campaign, no answer. A completion can never be tied to what you read before it.

8. How long we keep your data

We keep your data for as long as your account is active, so it is there when you come back. When you delete your account, we delete your profile and all associated logs, supplements, and reflections. Anonymous, aggregate analytics that cannot identify you may be retained, and the raw daily counters behind them are deleted automatically after 120 days.

A founding-list email is kept until you ask us to remove it. Deleting an account created with the same address removes it as well, from our records and from Resend, without your having to ask twice.

9. Your rights and choices

Wherever you live, we extend the same core rights to everyone. You can:

  • Access the information we hold about you.
  • Correct your name and cycle details directly in the planner.
  • Delete your account and all of its data at any time.
  • Have your email taken off the founding list, whether or not you ever created an account. One email to us is enough.
  • Opt out of data sharing for product improvement.
  • Ask us a question about your data and get a real answer.

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or the CCPA, including the right to know what we hold and the right to deletion. We honor these requests and will never treat you differently for exercising them. To make a request, email hello@updates.lunaround.com.

10. How we protect your data

We use reputable infrastructure providers, primarily Google Firebase, and take reasonable measures to protect your information against unauthorized access, loss, or misuse. We limit who can access account data to what is needed to run the service. No method of storage or transmission over the internet is ever completely secure, so we cannot promise absolute security, and we would rather be honest about that than over-promise.

11. Children's privacy

The planner is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us information, contact us and we will remove it.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the product evolves. If we make a material change to how we handle your personal data, we will update the effective date and, where appropriate, notify you. We will never quietly start selling your data or weakening these promises.

13. Contact us

Questions about your privacy or anything on this page? We would genuinely like to hear from you.
